Night by Elie Wiesel

I used to enjoy reading when I was younger in my primary/lower school. I would read every day about whatever I liked. However, as I got older I was forced to read books I was not interested in. Since then I never really enjoyed reading and now I would call myself a former and reluctant reader. I will read a book that I am supposed to but I never really get into it and can't put it down.

The book that I am reading now is Night by Elie Wiesel. I chose this book because when I was younger I really enjoyed reading about the Holocaust so I wanted to choose a book that interested me. Also, when Ms. Maza described the book to me it sounded exciting. As I get further into this book, I am looking forward to see how much of an impact this man, Moshe the Beadle, had on the main family. Also, I am looking forward to seeing if the family survives or if they get split up. Finally, I am looking forward to see if the main character gets impacted by anyone else throughout his journey. This book reminds me of a book I read when I was younger. The book was Number the Stars. Night reminds me of this book because they both are about the struggles of a family during the Holocaust. Also, in both books a member in the family is alone in some way. Finally, the main character in both books are teens.
