I am a novice reader. Ever since I was little I never liked to read. I thought that reading was a hassle and in short reading did not spark my interests. As a child I spent most of my time either watching TV or on the computer. I’m reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and I chose it because my mom read it a few years back and loved it. I never had time to read this in my free time and I saw the movie a while ago and it seemed really interesting. As always, reading the book is much better than the movie so I thought I should give it a shot. When I first started to read the book it took up my attention but I was a little confused as to what was going on. It is a great book that I am actually really interested in reading, which is a surprise because I usually don’t like reading. So far, I would say the best part of the book is the plot, it’s great. Dan Brown really knows how to get the reader into a book and keep them hooked. The book is probably one of my top three favorites of all time and I haven’t even finished it yet!
